The 2015 World Congress of Nephrology continues to promote the themes of sustainability and diversity which are increasingly relevant to all countries across the developed and developing world. The commitment of the International Society of Nephrology to the global advancement of nephrology is recognized in the development of the scientific program. Each theme has a co-chair specifically tasked with ensuring the content of the program includes topics addressing practical, social and economic challenges across diverse nations.

There will be ample opportunities to hear ‘cutting edge’ research, to interact with experts in fields relevant to kidney disease and to communicate your own research findings to colleagues. The optimal delivery of care to patients with chronic kidney disease requires a multidisciplinary approach. We welcome the attendance of our nursing and allied health colleagues to the 2015 WCN.

We are confident that the program will deliver on our objectives for the international renal community and welcome your involvement in the Congress.
